Well, I am actually in my apartment tonight! I arrived at 9 am this morning and signed my lease. The apartment is small (it is a studio after all), but there is plenty of closet space, it has new carpet and vinyl and a new refrigerator! Everything works great and I am off to see a temp staffing agency tomorrow. There may also be another position available I just learned about, but I will let you know how that goes.
The people here at COR are wonderful. A family met me this morning and helped me unload everything and then invited me over for a few hours. I then made a mandatory trip to Target (I needed a shower curtain) and relaxed a little with Jackson until dinner time. Then a bunch of COR members and I had dinner at a little pizza place literally around the block from my apartment. I am so excited to be here and I am confident that God will provide a job for me.
Now, I know everyone wants to see the apartment, so here are some photos, please excuse the mess!
